Scholarship Overview
The GVD Future Talent Scholarship & Development Program is a future-talent identification, scholarship and development initiative established by Global Visionary Design Pty Ltd (GVD).
The program is designed not simply to reward applicants who already hold the highest marks, rankings or awards, but to identify young people who demonstrate the capacity to learn, think, create, adapt, solve problems, grow through challenges and develop into people capable of making meaningful contributions to their future fields, industries, communities and society.

What We Value
Traditional scholarship programs often place significant emphasis on past academic results.
GVD recognises achievement, but does not treat achievement as the complete measure of future talent.
The Program considers the person behind the result: how an applicant thinks, learns, responds to uncertainty, develops ideas, applies knowledge, solves problems, creates, improves and continues to grow.

fully developed in every dimension.
The purpose of the program is to
identify qualities and potential that are
worthy of further development.
Who Can Apply
The 2027 Program is open to applicants across three developmental cohorts:
PRIMARY YEARS
Applicants currently undertaking
primary education.
SECONDARY YEARS
Applicants currently undertaking
secondary education.
EMERGING ADULTS 18+
Applicants in higher education, vocational education,
transitional study or early
professional development.
Applicants may currently reside in Australia or overseas. The 2027 Program is principally intended for applicants intended for who are studying in
Australia or who intend to undertake a future stage of education and development in Australia.
Assessment is developmentally appropriate. Expectations are adjusted to the applicant’s age, educational stage and maturity. Younger applicants are not
expected to articulate adult-level career or social-impact plans; greater emphasis is placed on curiousity, learning behaviour, emerging talent, character
and potential.
The GVD Future Talent Scholarship & Development Program is designed to identify, encourage and support emerging talent across different fields of learning, creativity, innovation, leadership and human performance.
2027 Scholarship Categories
Intellectual & Learning Potential
This scholarship recognises individuals who demonstrate strong curiosity, intellectual engagement, analytical thinking and the capacity to learn and develop.
Applicants do not need to have the highest academic results. We are interested in how they explore ideas, understand complex questions, think independently and connect knowledge.
Creative, Design & Innovation Talent
This scholarship supports individuals who demonstrate the ability to imagine, create, design and develop new ideas or possibilities.
Talent may be demonstrated through design, architecture, fashion, digital creativity, media, visual communication, product development or other creative and interdisciplinary fields. We value not only the finished outcome.
Leadership, Enterprise & Social Impact
This scholarship recognises individuals who demonstrate initiative, responsibility, leadership potential and the capacity to turn ideas into meaningful action.
Applicants may demonstrate their potential through school, community involvement, entrepreneurship, social initiatives, collaborative projects or other experiences.
Science, Tech, Engineering & AI Talent
This scholarship encourages emerging talent in science, mathematics, engineering, technology, coding, robotics, data and artificial intelligence.
We look beyond technical results alone to understand how applicants investigate questions, experiment, solve problems and apply knowledge.
Sport, Performance & Exceptional Talent
This scholarship supports individuals demonstrating significant potential in sport, performance or other exceptional and emerging areas of talent.
